How Dubrovnik turned citizen reports into a city service that closes the loop

Citizens report potholes, broken street lights and rubbish on a map. The city assigns each report to the right institution, resolves it and tells the reporter what was done.

Live visitor numbers and crowd forecasts for a UNESCO World Heritage old town

Counters at every entrance to Dubrovnik's Old Town report how many people are inside, every 15 minutes. Machine learning forecasts the crowds for any day, so residents and visitors can plan around them.

Libertas Dubrovnik

Live buses and arrival times for Dubrovnik public transport

Every Libertas bus sends its position every few seconds. The platform shows the buses on the map, estimates when each one reaches every stop, and gives the staff one place to run lines, stops and timetables.
